Especially for the Residents of the Hardwick Area

The Hardwick Area is special because of the people.  The community spirit is always evident - whether it's people working together to help out for a special cause or people gathering for fun and good times.

Each community is unique and offers its own flavor to the area.  Hardwick is the biggest town in the area and serves as the business center with its downtown and growing industrial park.  Stannard is the smallest town and has no paved roads.  Cabot is home to the world-famous Cabot Creamery as well has rich farmland and beautiful nurseries.  Craftsbury exhibits the charm of New England town as it looked nearly 200 years ago.  Greensboro, on the shores of the Caspian Lake, boasts a summer community that supports a variety of cultural activities.  Walden offers the Steam Mill Brook Wildlife Management Area covering over 7,000 acres.  Wolcott has the Fisher Bridge, a covered railroad bridge, over the Lamoille River.  Woodbury has more lakes than any other town in Vermont and also has the largest mountain in the area - Woodbury Mountain.

We have everything from organic farms to high-tech business services, artists and entrepreneurs, industry and retail.
